Bright Selection is delighted to be supporting a third sector provider in Tonbridge with the recruitment of their new Home Manager.

This large and well-established nursing home is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead its team in delivering exceptional care for the elderly and individuals with dementia. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of residents while leading a dedicated team of care professionals.

As the Registered Manager with CQC you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently maintained. The successful candidate will lead and support a skilled team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements. The role will involve all aspects of managing the home, from care planning and quality assurance to staff development and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing strong leadership to the care team, fostering a culture of compassionate and person-centred care
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs of residents, with a focus on dementia care
  • Maintaining and improving CQC ratings by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards
  • Managing the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Overseeing care planning, medication management, and risk assessments to meet residents' needs safely and effectively
  • Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Managing the home's budget and resources to maintain financial sustainability while delivering exceptional care
  • Ensuring the home is a welcoming and homely environment for residents and visitors

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • A Registered Manager's Award (Level 5) or equivalent
  • Experience in a managerial role within a nursing home or similar setting, with a strong understanding of elderly and dementia care
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Salary:
  • Salary offered £70,000 - £75,000pa negotiable DOE + bonus
