Junior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services
Location: Edenbridge, Kent
Salary: Up to 30,000 + Benefits

The Role:
They are seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in electrical building services design. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers, contributing to the design and coordination of electrical systems for a variety of building projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting in the design of electrical building services, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
* Producing detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and calculations.
* Working collaboratively with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
* Using Revit MEP to create and coordinate electrical designs-knowledge of Revit MEP is essential for this role.
* Assisting with the preparation of technical reports and specifications.
* Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
* Attending project meetings and site visits when required.

Requirements
* Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Proficiency in Revit MEP is essential.
* Knowledge of industry standards, including BS and CIBSE guidelines.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
