Sonic Summary

The position is for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with shifts from 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, including occasional weekends at overtime rates.
Candidates should have a strong hands-on background in manufacturing maintenance and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, supporting engineering projects, and troubleshooting various faults.

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance.
Support engineering projects, including new equipment installation.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults.
Ensure safe working practices and compliance with regulations.
Work closely with production and the wider team to drive improvements.

What they arelooking For:

60/40 electrical bias preferred.
Engineering qualification (HNC, ONC, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance.
Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills.
Experience with pumps, motors, steam systems, pneumatics, and more (a bonus!).
Knowledge of safety regulations (IOSH, Permit to Work).
Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word).
