Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£36k - £45k inc shift allowance + bonus + benefits including healthcare + 25 days holiday

Tonbridge

Rotating shifts – 6am-2pm / 2pm – 10pm

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias and relevant Electrical qualifications and experience in Manufacturing/Engineering factory environments?

Our client is a top UK employer who are renowned for treating their staff well.

Duties Include:

  • Performing the effective diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on a range of industrial electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Responsible for the dismantling, checking, and testing of components.
  • Attend breakdowns and keep machinery down-time to a minimum.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition.
  • Providing support to other engineering teams as required.

The right candidate will have/be:

  • A time served Maintenance Engineer, qualified to Level 3 C&G or equivalent.
  • Electrically biased with 17 th /18 th Edition
  • Extensive experience working on machinery within a Manufacturing facility, ideally FMCG
  • PPM, breakdown, installation, and reactive maintenance experience.
  • A great, team orientated attitude.
  • Experience with: pumps, motors, steam systems, pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Great communication skills, able to provide technical support internally to Production teams.
  • Able to write reports clearly – good written and verbal English.
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office.
