Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Horsmonden who are looking for an Operations Leader to join their busy team.
About The Role:
To optimise the sites packing capacity ensuring stock is produced and managed in accordance with company policies / food safety procedures. Lead a team to ensure packing plan delivered 'first time right' adhering to production and business set targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
路 Correct utilisation of labour to deliver to production packing plan.
路 Line set up and optimisation.
路 Line balancing to ensure standard line layouts are followed.
路 Correct staff rotation in accordance with company procedures
路 Develop / maintain a consistent competent team of Line Leaders
路 Full compliance to company / customer food safety standards
路 Adherence to production targets
路 Line leaders' reviews and performance management
路 Take necessary action where breaches to companies H&S / Food safety policy are identified.
路 Deliver company briefs in line with management requests and support.
路 Identify and pursue to delivery any opportunities that add value to the business.
路 Ensure all documentation is accurately produced and audit ready in line with both internal / external procedures and standards.
路 Ensure food safety / hygiene standards are followed and managed.
路 Manage team to set costs, correct standard quality and targeted efficiency Adopt tactical/lateral approach to your work area to continuously improve efficiencies.
路 Identify training needs of your colleagues and seek ways to improve processes and procedures to move the business forward.
路 Communicate between all departments to optimise productivity, resolve issues and improve processes and procedures.
路 Undertake investigations and present to senior manager.
路 Management of RTW's on direct reports and shift team under your accountability
About you:
路 Previous experience within the same or similar role
路 Previous experience within the soft fruit industry
路 Own transport essential due to location
Salary 拢35,000 - 拢38,000 depending on experience.
Working hours 8am to 8pm 4 on 4 off shifts.
