Our client, a well-established, traditional. top tier law firm in the Tonbridge area whose excellent reputation is built on genuine client relationships and their exceptional employees, are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their friendly and collaborative Finance team on a 4 day week

In this pivotal role in the day-to-day operation of the Firm you will be responsible for:

  • Processing account transactions, both inbound and outbound payments
  • Performing bank reconciliation 
  • Producing reports on the financial status of the law firm
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
  • Liaising with compliance officers, clients, auditors, regulators, suppliers and banks

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years working within a Finance function within the legal industry, although other professional services experience may be transferable.  You will also have:

  • A methodical, accurate and well organised approach to your work
  • A flexible approach to tasks and be accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
  • A collaborative team player
  • The ability to work proactively without supervision.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, working a 4 day week, 9am-5.15pm, although flexibility may be required for month end postings.  The role will initially be fully office-based moving to a hybrid 2-2 split after successful completion of the probationary period.
