A well-established wealth management firm is seeking a part-time Senior Paraplanner to join their team. The firm offers expert financial advice to individuals and small businesses, and they are looking for someone to support their advisers and ensure high-quality service for clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with paraplanning experience to join a growing practice. The role offers flexibility with part-time hours (20-24 hours per week) and a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home and the office in Tonbridge, two days a week.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing business and suitability reports for investments and pension replacements, managing drawdown cases and client reviews, and providing technical input for meeting documentation. You will also assist in preparing client recommendations and work closely with the team to identify client opportunities that align with business objectives. Staying up-to-date with compliance requirements and addressing incoming technical client queries will also be important aspects of the role. Additionally, you will oversee pension transfer suitability reports if assigned to an external paraplanner, ensuring a consistent "suitable first-time" approach.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and team members. You should be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in paraplanning or financial administration, as well as proficiency in financial tools like FE Analytics and cashflow modelling, is essential. A Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) or equivalent qualifications and at least two years of experience in a financial adviser practice are required. Experience with pension transfers and drawdown cases is advantageous, and previous experience in customer service for high-net-worth individuals would be a bonus. A driving licence is optional but beneficial.
