We are looking for a GM to join our award-winning family owned pub & restaurant group
LIVE ON SITE
You will be responsible for maintaining consistent standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports our values. You will contribute to the profitability of the pub through the operation of effective cost controls and stock monitoring and have full control of hiring the crew.
The ideal General Manager for this position:
Must have previous experience in a similar role front of house or Head chef role in a good kitchen
Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
Must have high standards, a good attention to detail and the ability to organise and plan ahead.
Must be a good leader, be able to multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to build a fantastic team and know that good people are the life blood to a good operation.
Must be an excellent host and enjoy making people happy.
General Manager Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day management of all areas within the pub operation, ensuring delivery of exceptional customer service.
Ensure costs are controlled in all areas without compromising standards and service delivery.
Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health and Safety work practices.
Ensure support of the pubs core values at all times.
Day to day hiring and developing the team to insure good wellbeing and outstanding customer service.
