We are looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our clients growing team.

If you have experience assembling mechanical components, with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics this could be the role for you!

Duties for this Assembly Fitter role include:

  • Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, assembling automotive components
  • Installing components and sub assemblies usingvarious hand and power tools.
  • Fault finding to component level
  • Interpreting schematics
  • Carrying out quality checks in a safety critical environment
  • Working as part of a team using your great communication skills!

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an assembly / mechanical fitter role
  • The ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics.
  • An understanding of electrics, such as wiring looms, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • The ability tofit fixings such as nuts and bolts, electrical plugs, and hydraulic adapters.
  • A good level of physical fitnesswith the ability to lift heavy products and stand for long periods of time.
  • Skills using hand and power tools
  • High levels of attention to detail.
