Location - Marden, Kent

Salary - £34,851.17 per annum

39 hours per week

Our client, based in Marden, Kent is looking for a skilled professional to join their team with a competitive salary of circa £34,851.17 per annum.

Job Summary: As a Spray Painter, you will prepare, mask, and apply paint to a variety of fabricated metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Duties:

  • Read and assess production information for specification details.
  • Set up and maintain spraying equipment, ensuring materials are mixed correctly.
  • Perform masking procedures, apply primer and main coats.
  • Conduct quality control checks.
  • Clean and maintain spraying equipment.
  • Perform paint rectification's and measurements.
  • Inspect and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Safely dispose of waste materials and operate machinery safely.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • NVQ 3 or City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and colour matching abilities.
  • Good hand-to-eye coordination and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Knowledge of coatings, finishes, and surface preparation.
  • Safety-conscious approach with hazard control understanding.

  • Polycotton Overalls
  • Safety Shoes
  • Safety Goggles
  • Air Fed Mask
  • Chemical Resistant Gloves
