Our client, based in Marden, Kent is looking for a skilled professional to join their team with a competitive salary of circa £34,851.17 per annum.
Job Summary: As a Spray Painter, you will prepare, mask, and apply paint to a variety of fabricated metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Key Duties:
- Read and assess production information for specification details.
- Set up and maintain spraying equipment, ensuring materials are mixed correctly.
- Perform masking procedures, apply primer and main coats.
- Conduct quality control checks.
- Clean and maintain spraying equipment.
- Perform paint rectification's and measurements.
- Inspect and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Safely dispose of waste materials and operate machinery safely.
Knowledge and Experience:
- NVQ 3 or City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and colour matching abilities.
- Good hand-to-eye coordination and ability to follow written instructions.
- Knowledge of coatings, finishes, and surface preparation.
- Safety-conscious approach with hazard control understanding.

- Air Fed Mask
- Chemical Resistant Gloves
