Our client, a centrally located firm who pride themselves on providing a high quality, responsive and tailored service, are looking for a Junior Legal Secretary to join their firm. 

As a Junior Legal Secretary you will join the Float team, supporting Fee Earners and managers across several departments, across both the Sevenoaks and Tonbridge offices.  You will provide general administrative support, whilst gaining an invaluable insight into the workings of the firm.  Duties will include:

  • Drafting, preparing, and proofing accurate documentation and correspondence
  • Managing client enquiries by phone and email
  • Scanning and archiving files
  • Opening and closing files
  • Keeping databases and client records up to date
  • Audio dictation

The ideal Junior Legal Secretary will have a years’ experience in a busy administration role, you will also have:

  • Proven experience of working as part of a team and dealing with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • A confident, methodical, and pro-active approach to tasks .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner
  • A good level of IT literacy and a confident user of Microsoft Office applications.

The role is fully office based, Monday to Friday from our client's offices in the heart of Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, both a short walk from the station. Benefits include Free parking, Life insurance and pension
