Are you an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary looking for an exciting role within a well-established firm? We have a fantastic opportunity offering immediate interviews, career progression, a competitive salary, and the option to work a four-day week if preferable.

Role Overview:

As a Legal Secretary, you’ll provide essential support to your Principal, helping them operate at peak efficiency. Your role will involve welcoming visitors, ensuring high-quality client care, and handling daily administrative tasks in a helpful, friendly, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Greet clients and visitors warmly, manage telephone inquiries, and assist with routine client queries.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare correspondence, documents, and audio-typing as needed; manage the filing, opening, and closing of client files.
  • Administrative Support: Arrange appointments, meetings, and maintain your Principal’s diary. Help prepare mail, perform photocopying, and other essential office tasks.
  • Reception Support: Provide backup support to reception and assist partners and other team members as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Build positive relationships within the firm and with external contacts, ensuring clear and precise communication.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the strict confidentiality of all client and company information.

Extended Responsibilities:

  • Stay current on industry knowledge to represent and promote the firm’s values and services effectively.
