Distribution Centre Manager

Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells/Paddock Wood

Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri (Note: the role is responsible for 24/7 operation, so ideally would suit someone able to be flexible where needed, but predominately Mon – Fri role)

Salary: £45,000-£55,000

In this role, you will have full ownership of the existing fulfilment and distribution depot, leading a team of three section managers, day/night supervisors, and warehouse operatives. You will be responsible for team building, restructuring and driving continuous process improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Accountable for the successful leadership and operational effectiveness of the entire distribution centre, responsible for delivering customer excellence, ensuring safety and building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead, develop and mentor a diverse, high performing and enthusiastic team
  • Scope and Identify improvement initiatives within the team and operation, leading projects across the warehouse, goods-in, inventory control and dispatch sections.
  • Continuously review operational performance and procedures, across service, cost, people and process
