Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the production team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with production planning and scheduling
  • Coordinating production milestones and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with suppliers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes
  • Supporting the implementation of quality control measures
  • Assisting with data collection and analysis for performance evaluation
  • Handling administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining documentation

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

  • A relevant degree is preferable, either engineering, mathematics or science
  • Naturally enquiring mind: solution orientated and keen to improves processes
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail to track and analyse high levels of data
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Effective communication and collaboration ability

Desirable knowledge, skills, qualifications required:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
