Are you looking for an exciting office-based position within an intimate and well-established business? Do you have exceptional administration skills and an eye for detail?

My client has a rare opening for an Operations Assistant to join a vibrant team specialising in security systems! This role is super varied so if you are organised, an all-rounder and have an aptitude to learn then continue reading!

Duties of this Operations Assistant role include:

  • Maintaining and managing strong relationships with a database of well-known retail customers.
  • Managing stock rotation and sourcing materials when requested, checking prices against budgets.
  • Raising jobs on the system and supporting with the purchasing procedure.
  • Working closely with the office manager and providing comprehensive administrative support.
  • Adjusting technical designs for quotations, installation work, and final project fittings.
  • Providing excellent customer care, finding, and communicating effective responses to queries and complaints.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the phone lines and general email correspondence.
  • Supporting customers with making changes to their accounts and updating the system in accordance with this.
  • Chasing orders and unpacking upon arrival.

To be considered for this role you will have/be:

  • Solid administration experience.
  • Experience working within the security sector/ access control (desirable).
  • Computer literate with knowledge across all MS Software’s, including Excel and knowledge of Adobe also desirable.
  • A meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisation skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload.
  • A manual driving licence, as you may be occasionally required to pick up stock from other sites.
