Are you a Site Manager with experience in the Residential sector  We've just picked up a new role which might be what you are looking for!

• Position:  Site Manager
• Contract type:  Freelance / Temporary
• Pay rate: upto £275 per day CIS (rate is dependant on level of experience)
• Location: Tonbridge area, Kent
• Duration: 6 months

The project:

A traditional build development of 125 new build homes ranging from 2 bedroom affordable housing units up to 5 bedroom luxury homes valued at £1.3 million per plot.

The role:

Working as part of a team of 5 Site Managers on the development you will be responsible for managing internal works from 1st fix through to preparing the units for occupation so your role will include:

• Chairing and managing your own subcontractor meetings.
• Producing short-term look ahead programmes inline with the sales production programme.
• Ordering via supply chain any required non-supply & fit plant, materials and labour.
• Plot inspections with the home warranties inspector.
• Site safety which is paramount.
• Ensuring plots are delivered to the design detail.

About you:

• You will have a proven track record of delivering plots (HA and private sale).
• Be able to produce your own short-term programmes.
• Excellent management skills and the ability to get your contractors working for you to deliver the programme.
• CSCS Card (certificates are not accepted)
• SMSTS certificate
• First Aid certificate
• Good eye for detail to ensure plots are delivered defect free and pass inspections.
