As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students to reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and ensure students remain engaged.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to enhance teaching practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements of the Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
