Occupational Therapist - Band 5 - Rehabilitation hospital

I am excited to share a wonderful opportunity to work as a Occupational Therapist on a permanent contract. Nonstop Care division is working with an independent specialist neurorehabilitation provider that is well-known in neurological care and neurorehabilitation in Tonbridge.

You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of rehabilitation medicine and psychiatry, rehabilitation nurses and assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech and language therapists, neurological music therapists and dieticians.

The hospital benefits from peaceful surroundings and also has extensive facilities which include a dedicated physiotherapy gym, beautiful gardens and patient lounges.

Alongside individual therapy interventions, the patients also have the opportunity to participate in social activities and group sessions in which they can learn new skills and interact with others.

Responsibilities

The occupational therapist is ideally experienced in neuro and will be carrying out therapeutic interventions to patients. You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and have an active role in this. The team takes a holistic approach focused on the individual to ensure that those in their care have access to the professional support, advice and intervention they need in order to achieve their personal rehabilitation goals, maximise their independence, have their voice heard at each part of their journey, have control and are empowered to live the life they wish regardless of the challenges they face
