Trainee Process Engineer– Circa *£30,000– Tonbridge, Kent
The Role

We are one of the UK's leading dry powder manufacturers, looking to appoint Trainee Process Engineers to our growing team.
You will help manufacture our customers' powder products using commercial spray dryers. Full training will be provided, starting at our Tonbridge factory, where you will continue to learn under your Shift Supervisor and Senior Supervisor.
You’ll work on one of our Monday to Friday shift patterns:
- Day shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00
- Night shift: 22:00 to 06:00

- Operate machinery to meet production targets
- Clean and maintain spray drying equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate production records
- Work collaboratively with your shift team to ensure smooth operations.

We are able to produce a wide range of products to exceptional quality and hygiene standards for volumes from a few Kgs to many Tonnes. We have tremendous experience in providing spray drying services to the Food Industry including Flavours, Individual Ingredients, Pharmaceutical Excipients, Colours and Nutritional products.
The Person
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Interest in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Reliable and committed to working shifts.
- There is some heavy lifting involved in the role, and as such you must be physically fit enough to lift and carry 25Kg product bags.
