Daytime healthcare are working with an established Home Care agency, who are expanding and looking for an experience Acting Assistant service manager to join their friendly team!

What will you be doing?

- To work in partnership with the Service Manager and Registered Manager and other key stakeholders in order to deliver safe, high quality services for service users.

- To support the Service Manager undertake the recruitment, development and management of staff in order to provide them with the skills, experience and behaviours necessary to provide a safe, high quality service to people supported.

- To support the Service Manager and participate in the monitoring/management of service budgets to ensure a high standard of physical, social and emotional support is provided. To ensure that accurate financial records are made.

- To act as a practice leader, role modelling Person Cantered Active Support approaches and PBS approaches to staff and others.

- To assist the Service Manager in delivery of the service in order to meet the needs and aspirations of people supported, service commissioners and regulatory authorities and to develop a reputation for Avenues for excellent delivery of distinctive services.

- Duties may include providing personal care and administration of medication.

- To participate in the On call Rota.

Experience

- Ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders of people supported

- Good communication skills

- Experience of supporting people who behaviour is challenging with PBS qualification desirable

- Candidates will share Avenues values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity and Pride.

- Full UK manual driving licence highly desirable due to the location
