Working as a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components within a specific category meet specifications, industry regulations and the company’s high standards before they are approved as new products.

The duties of this process driven technical quality inspection role include:

  • Physical inspection of automotive components and sub-assemblies
  • Carrying out a range of validation testing including use of measurement tools
  • Reading, understanding and interpreting technical drawings, information and specifications
  • Speaking with various stakeholders including suppliers and internal teams
  • Accurately recording and analysing gathered information before compiling reports on a daily basis
  • Offering support to audit process as required

The successful Quality Inspector will:

  • Hold an Engineering qualification, or be qualified through experience within a related role with good GCSEs
  • Be technically minded, with the ability to read technical drawings
  • Have a process driven mindset, with the ability to accurately record information even when carrying out repetitive tasks
  • Have great communication skills

To be a top candidate for this role, you will also have:

  • Experience within automotive manufacturing
  • Studied to degree level previously
  • An interest in the automotive sector
  • Immediate availability
