About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our team and drive operational excellence on a 4 on / 4 off days shift pattern. Key Responsibilities:

Labour & Line Optimization:

  • Efficiently manage labor to achieve the daily packing plan.
  • Oversee line setup, balancing, and optimization, ensuring targets are met consistently.

Team Leadership:

  • Handle staff rotations according to company procedures.
  • Develop and nurture a skilled team of Line Leaders, conducting performance reviews and providing regular coaching.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Act promptly on any procedural breaches, keeping audit documentation updated and compliant.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a bridge between departments, facilitating communication to address issues and enhance workflows.
  • Support management requests and deliver company briefings as required.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements.
  • Assess and address training needs to build a stronger, more capable team.

Target & Performance Management:

  • Drive production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals to meet or exceed expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar production or team leader role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
