Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Horsmonden who are looking for an Operations Leader to join their busy team.

About The Role:

To optimise the sites packing capacity ensuring stock is produced and managed in accordance with company policies / food safety procedures. Lead a team to ensure packing plan delivered 'first time right’ adhering to production and business set targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Correct utilisation of labour to deliver to production packing plan.

· Line set up and optimisation.

· Line balancing to ensure standard line layouts are followed.

· Correct staff rotation in accordance with company procedures

· Develop / maintain a consistent competent team of Line Leaders

· Full compliance to company / customer food safety standards

· Adherence to production targets

· Line leaders’ reviews and performance management

· Take necessary action where breaches to companies H&S / Food safety policy are identified.

· Deliver company briefs in line with management requests and support.

· Identify and pursue to delivery any opportunities that add value to the business.

· Ensure all documentation is accurately produced and audit ready in line with both internal / external procedures and standards.

· Ensure food safety / hygiene standards are followed and managed.

· Manage team to set costs, correct standard quality and targeted efficiency Adopt tactical/lateral approach to your work area to continuously improve efficiencies.

· Identify training needs of your colleagues and seek ways to improve processes and procedures to move the business forward.

· Communicate between all departments to optimise productivity, resolve issues and improve processes and procedures.

· Undertake investigations and present to senior manager.

· Management of RTW’s on direct reports and shift team under your accountability

About you:

· Previous experience within the same or similar role

· Previous experience within the soft fruit industry

· Own transport essential due to location

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

Working hours 8am to 8pm 4 on 4 off shifts.
