Senior Buyer

West Kent

£55,000 - £60,000 DOE

Permanent full time role

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, analytical, and process driven Senior Buyer to join a manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be able to make the role their own and there will be lots of opportunities for progression in the future.

Duties:

  • Managing and building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Sourcing new suppliers.
  • Dealing with pricing issues, updates, and undertaking pricing analyses.
  • Maintaining and updating the ERP system accurately.
  • Ensure that product prices and supplier details are accurately maintained.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Providing quotes.
  • Monitoring stock lines.
  • Reading drawings.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Previous experience within a similar role within manufacturing (essential).
  • A desire to progress within the role.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Resilient.
  • Organised with the ability to juggle differing priorities simultaneously.
  • IT proficient.
  • A driving license and own transport due to the office location.
