Senior Buyer

£55,000 - £60,000 DOE
Permanent full time role
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, analytical, and process driven Senior Buyer to join a manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be able to make the role their own and there will be lots of opportunities for progression in the future.
Duties:
- Managing and building strong relationships with suppliers.
- Sourcing new suppliers.
- Dealing with pricing issues, updates, and undertaking pricing analyses.
- Maintaining and updating the ERP system accurately.
- Ensure that product prices and supplier details are accurately maintained.
- Raising purchase orders.
- Providing quotes.
- Monitoring stock lines.
- Reading drawings.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Previous experience within a similar role within manufacturing (essential).
- A desire to progress within the role.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Resilient.
- Organised with the ability to juggle differing priorities simultaneously.
- IT proficient.
- A driving license and own transport due to the office location.
