About the role of Quantity Surveyor
Our client is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyor to spearhead their new commercial team on an exciting new project. You will be instrumental in building and developing a high-performing team of Quantity Surveyors while delivering exceptional commercial outcomes.
The responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor
This role will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will carry out the following:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports.
- Collaborate with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and team members.
- Assist in contract administration and dispute resolution.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Preparation and negotiation of final accounts.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- Have a track record of working for a main contractor or similar size.
- In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contracts.
- Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
