Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and informative lessons in Design & Technology, with a particular focus on woodwork.
  • Foster a creative and safe workshop environment where students can develop their skills in using tools and machinery appropriately.
  • Assess and evaluate studentsā€™ progress in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching Design & Technology, specifically woodwork, at the secondary school level.
  • Strong practical knowledge and skills in woodwork, including the safe operation of tools and machinery.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
