Garage Branch Manager Required in Tonbridge, Kent!
  • Salary: Basic £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus Scheme + Weekend Rate = £60,000 + annual earnings
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30, Saturdays 1 in 2 08:30 – 16:30
Our client a Leading Family Run Car Garage Group are seeking a dynamic and driven Garage Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of their busy MOT and repair centre located in Tonbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a well-established branch within a reputable independent garage group, known for delivering industry leading automotive services across North East Hampshire and Surrey.What Our Client Can Offer the Successful Garage Branch Manager:
  • Competitive Salary: Earn a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per year, with potential OTE of £60,000 + including bonuses.
  • Bonus Scheme: Opportunity to earn an additional £10,000 - £15,000 per year.
  • Weekend Rate: £24 per hour for weekend work.

Key Responsibilities of a Garage Branch Manager with our client:
  • Operational Management: Take ownership of the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the branch.
  • Customer Care: Maintain high standards of customer service, managing customer queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Leadership: Manage, develop, and motivate a team of technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle job card creation, invoicing, parts ordering and returns, cashing up, and banking.
  • Site Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the site, keeping it clean, safe, and operational.
  • Reporting: Liaise with Head Office and provide monthly reports on branch performance.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage your time and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and achieve business goals.
  • Commercial Focus: Understand the financial aspects of the branch, including profit and loss, and balance costs accordingly.

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and the ability to diagnose and rectify faults.
