The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / TA for a 1-1 post working with a child with additional learning needs, you will have a fantastic support network of other teaching assistants and the class teacher so rest assured the setting will be modelled to ensure maximum support and progression for the pupil. The child may be working on a reduced timetable on certain days so there will be an expectation to be versatile and flexible to assist the school in other areas/classes beyond your core duties.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to remain clam in stressful situations
Experience in working one to one with additional learning needs
