Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with leadership experience in mental health care? We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to lead our mental health team. This pivotal role requires someone who can provide exceptional care to our patients while effectively managing and supporting the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality mental health care to patients.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualisedcare plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Promote mental health awareness and education within the team and community.
  • Handle administrative duties, including staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current registration.
  • Significant experience in mental health nursing.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong leadership qualities.
