- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging PE lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual student needs.
- Foster an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.
- Assess student progress in various physical activities, providing constructive feedback and tailored support as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices in physical education.
- Prepare students for physical assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel in sports and fitness.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in physical education.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (completion possible during recruitment).
- Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (SET Recruitment provides free DBS if not on the update service).
