  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging PE lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual student needs. 
  • Foster an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity. 
  • Assess student progress in various physical activities, providing constructive feedback and tailored support as required. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices in physical education. 
  • Prepare students for physical assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel in sports and fitness. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. 
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in physical education. 
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (completion possible during recruitment). 
  • Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (SET Recruitment provides free DBS if not on the update service). 
  • Right to work documentation in the UK. 
  • Updated CV. 
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, in accordance with the school's operational schedule. SET Recruitment proudly serves all 22 local authorities through the temporary workers and supply teachers' framework in Wales.
