SET Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Candidates must have previous experience working with children with SEN and possess excellent communication skills.

The salary for this position will depend on relevant experience, with industry-leading contract rates offered.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, and successful candidates may have the opportunity for a permanent role after a trial period.

About the Role:SET Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with SEN experience looking to make a real difference in the lives of students. Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support classroom activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress.
Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.

Requirements:

Must have previous experience working with children with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is desirable.

Application Process:Candidates will initially be signed up with SET Recruitment. Following the 12-week working period at the school, a decision will be made by the school on whether to offer a trial period.
