The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / TA for regular weekly work, The successful candidate will be working within the schools Special Resource Base (SRB), the role will focus on supporting pupils diagnosed with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in developing both their learning and their social communication skills in an engaging and calm environment. Experience of working with children with ALN on either a 1-1 or class basis is essential for this role. Particulalrly, experience working with children with ASD would be advantageous.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain clam in stressful situations
- Experience in working one to one with additional learning needs
