Senior Quantity Surveyor

Mon-Fri, office based in Co Antrim, hybrid working not available for this role.

Salary up to circa 55,000.

SRG are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing and engineering organisation who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in the Toome area.

The successful QS will play a key role in the contracting division of our client's company and be responsible for:

  • General surveying duties including the accurate preparation of costing & accounts
  • Commercial management of projects including contract terms, negotiation, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, cash collection, agreement of variations and final accounts
  • Budget monitoring as well as forecasting & reporting on profit and loss status.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience dealing commercially with both sub-contractors and clients
  • Experience of reviewing contracts is essential
  • Experience of current and forecast commercial reporting
  • Ability to successfully meet monthly debt targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
