Key Responsibilities:
- Design advanced optical and photonic components and systems.
- Lead and manage team performance to deliver exceptional results.
- Develop and implement product development strategies.
- Collaborate on prototype construction and testing.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Degree in Engineering or Physics (PhD preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of fibre-optics and photonics technologies.
- Proficiency with optical design software such as Zemax.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Background in satellite communications, industrial sensing, or biomedical imaging is advantageous.
