Background –
This is a great opportunity for a long term locum First Contact Practitioner. Working within a HUB model you will see 25, pre-booked, patients per day, presenting with one acute problem and working to 15 minute appointments. There is flexibility around full time or part time with a view to start from 1st May, through to the end of November.
The PCN is looking for someone experience seeing acute presentations, however, you do not need to be a prescriber. As a locum practitioner you will become part of a well respected and supportive PCN, working alongside a variety of other experienced clinicians such as GPs, Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists, etc.
Salary – £34 per hour
Location – Torquay
The PCN –
- 4 Forward-thinking GP practices within the PCN
- Operating a hub model
- Long-standing MDT within the PCN, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCAs and more
- Very well-established within the community
Your role –
- Need to be experienced and comfortable with acute, on the day presentations
- Do not need to be a prescriber
- Part time or full time available from 1st May-30th November
- 15 minute face-to-face appointments
- 25 appointments per day
- No extended hours
- No home visits
