Job Purpose
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality audit fieldwork, ensuring budgets and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of financial statements, ensuring quality and compliance throughout
  • Review work completed by junior staff to provide constructive feedback
  • Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Manage own workload and regularly update managers with work progress
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

  • ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Solid understanding of UK audit regulations
  • Proven track record of leading audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Excellent supervisory skills to coach junior staff
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
  • A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
  • Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
