TeacherActive is excited to partner with a well-established day nursery based in the Totnes area, seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to cover shifts across all their sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and positive environment, focused on engaging children with a therapeutic approach. The nursery features age-appropriate indoor and outdoor areas designed to offer sensory-enhancing activities, providing a safe and secure space for children to explore, challenge themselves, and take risks.
The nursery is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner for a long-term role, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Reporting directly to the Nursery Manager, you may be required to work across all rooms, supporting children from babies to 4 years old. As the nursery continues to grow, there are also career progression opportunities for a motivated and dedicated Nursery Practitioner.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
· Level 3 desirable
· Level 2 required
· Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum
· ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
· Adaptability
