Key Responsibilities:
- Performs service and repair for instruments returned by customers for periodic service, repair and re-calibration. This may include electronic fault finding, mechanical dis-assembly / reassembly and complete instrument testing.
- To plan and prioritise the day to day workload to ensure efficient use of resource.
- Document's and performs all work in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- To collaborate closely with various departments involved in the service work to ensure efficient performance.
- Using our business management system software.
- Performs other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications / Experience:
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Grade C or above.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills.
- Practical mechanical ability.
- PCB handling and repairs along with soldering experience.
- Good analytical thinking.
- Dynamic, pro-active approach to the workload.
- Good planning skills with the ability to work to critical timelines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Flexible to the requirements of the job.
