Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher for Alternative Provision School

Location: South Devon area

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm

Salary: 拢30,000 to 拢41,333 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with a passion for providing individualised learning to pupils with a diverse range of needs? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN Teacher to join the dynamic team at an alternative provision that operates two schools in the Teignbridge / South Devon area.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Teach a range of general subjects in line with either the primary or GCSE curriculum.

路 Based at the Totnes school, catering to the educational needs of pupils aged 11 to 16.

路 Create and implement tailored lesson plans to address the specific learning requirements of pupils with MLD, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH / trauma-based needs.

Requirements:

路 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), either pre or post-16.

路 Extensive experience in teaching children and young people with SEN, particularly those with MLD, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH / trauma-based needs.

路 A strong understanding of the diverse learning, behavioural, and emotional needs of pupils in this setting.
