The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is partnering exclusively with a prestige business, Greystone GT in seeking a motivated and versatile Assistant Management Accountant to support the financial operations of the business. In this role, you will be empowered to contribute to a range of financial activities, from day-to-day transactions to P&L reporting, with guidance and mentorship from the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger using a bespoke accounting system and Xero, ensuring timely transactions and accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyse periodic P&L reports, including customer/event variance analysis.
  • Perform journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT returns.
  • Support cash flow management and assist with forecasting and supplier payments.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and corporate card reconciliations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to process improvements.
  • Support ad hoc projects, travel bookings, and procurement needs.
  • Adhere to company policies and contribute to the development of the finance function.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of transactional activity and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook; Xero experience is a plus.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
