We’re delighted to be working exclusively with our Towcester based client, seeking an Accounts Clerk for this newly created role. This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly finance team, where you will learn all aspects of the purchase and sales ledger and finance administration.
The key responsibilities include:
- Managing the AP inbox
- Coding and processing purchase invoices, assisting with weekly payment runs
- Highlighting and resolving supplier invoice queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Raising customer and intercompany invoices, processing corrections, and sending customer statements.
- Supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Adhoc finance admin as required

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, as accuracy is key in this role. Good communication skills are essential, as you’ll be liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams on a daily basis. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines when required is important, as is a proactive and organised approach, with the confidence to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
Remuneration
- Salary: c£25,000 per annum
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – Office Based
- Holidays: 30 days holiday including statutory bank holidays.
- Other: AAT study Support, Life Assurance, Health Plan, Pension, On-site gym, On-site parking
