Are you a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer looking to establish themselves in a rapidly growing company with a wide range of clients, in a role that provides variety and learning opportunities to fuel pay and role progression?

This company have been constantly growing for nearly two decades, providing ground investigation services that can provide practical advice on contaminated land, sustainable drainage solutions, soil parameters for basement and infrastructure design and economic and environmentally sustainable remediation solutions.

This role will see the successful candidate complete a wide variety of tasks, taking on ground investigation projects to support a range of clients. The appropriate individual will display a flare for report writing, providing accurate assessments and recommendations for clients on the completion of all projects.

The Role:

  • Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling contractors
  • Trail pitting
  • Soil and role logging to British standards
  • Undertake Insitu testing, Soakaway/permeability testing, Verification sampling and testing and Gas/groundwater monitoring
  • Survey exploratory holes
  • Hand auger sampling and inspection pit excavations
  • Preparing soil samp[les from boreholes and trial pit excavations and assisting Senior Engineers
  • Preparing site plans, logs and inputting field data, before summarising in written reports

The Person:

  • Degree in geology, related to earth science or civils
  • Full and clean UK driving licence
  • Experience with report writing
