Graduate Geotechnical Engineer (Report Writing)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Progression + Private Medical Insurance + Profit Share Scheme + Mon to Fri

Are you a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer with a strong understanding of report writing, looking for the opportunity to step into a role with a highly experienced team in a company who have operated for 3 & a half decades offering progression and a variety of company benefits?

This company is a long established Geotechnical Consultancy operating on a range of projects from new developments to subsidence investigations. The business is continuously growing and taking on more projects nationwide so are looking to expand their workforce.

In this role you will be involved in a range of geotechnical projects from delivery through to the preparation of desk studies, interpretation of ground investigations and report writing.

If you are a geotechnical engineer with strong ambitions and a desire to grow & develop your career then this could be a great opportunity for you!

The Role:

  • Geotechnical report writing providing assessments of projects
  • Preparing soil samples from boreholes and trial pit excavations and assisting Senior Engineer
  • Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary and window sampling contractors
  • Collaborating with other engineers to provide a high quality consultancy service to clients

The Person:

  • Experience in a ground investigation environment working in a similar role
  • Degree level qualification in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering
  • Strong report writing experience
  • Full UK diving licence (to drive company vehicle)
