Your Mission:
As an H&S Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with HSE legislation, maintaining accurate records, and embedding a culture of governance and risk mitigation across all areas. You will support internal departments with risk assessments, training, and accident investigations, while liaising with external advisors and regulatory bodies to keep safety standards at the forefront.
What You'll Be Doing as the H&S Compliance Officer:
- Organise workplace occupational hygiene monitoring and manage follow-up actions.
- Oversee the Fire Protection Plan and Fire Risk Assessment process.
- Liaise with insurance providers and facilitate statutory inspections.
- Conduct COSHH risk assessments, implementing necessary control measures.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work in collaboration with department stakeholders.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Facilities on compliance topics such as Legionella, LOTO, and Technical Files.
- Support DSE compliance, assisting with risk assessments.
- Enhance Fire Evacuation procedures and manage PEEPs.
- Maintain training records and arrange relevant HSE training sessions.
- Provide H&S compliance support to Trackside & Events teams.
- Issue and manage Contractor Permits to Work.
- Deliver engaging Health & Safety inductions for new employees.
What We're Looking For:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- ISO 45001 Auditor qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation, including the ‘Six Pack’ regulations, Fire Safety, CDM, and COSHH.
- Experience with HSE-related online software (e.g. contractor management, COSHH risk assessment, incident management).
- Prior experience in motorsport or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
