Electronics Development Engineer

Job Overview:
A well-established company is seeking a skilled Electronics Development Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electronic assemblies integrated into mechanical packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electronic product development, working closely with a team of engineers to meet spatial constraints.
- Design and layout PCBs, producing documentation for manufacturing.
- Source, produce, and test prototypes as required.
- Develop and test prototypes in compliance with EMC legislation (experience with automotive/aerospace standards is advantageous).
- Identify and recommend improvements to optimize costs and technical performance.
- Oversee qualification, testing, and compliance with EMC standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new technological innovations.
- Document and report internal testing findings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in both analogue and digital electronics hardware design.
- Experience bringing products from concept to market (full product life cycle).
- Understanding of EMC compliance and testing.
- Knowledge of CAN bus networks (SAE J1939 preferred).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, 365, Teams, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
