Role Overview:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic, social, and emotional development of the young learners. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and effective lessons that align with the National Curriculum and ensure all pupils reach their full potential. You will also be an integral part of our supportive school community, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons for KS1 pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents to support ongoing development.
- Collaborate with other staff to create a cohesive and effective learning experience.
- Engage with parents and guardians to ensure pupils' well-being and academic success.
- Contribute to school activities, including extracurricular programs, assemblies, and events.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a good understanding of the curriculum.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
