- Minimum years of 5 industry experience
- Proficiency in RF circuitry (specialisation not essential but preferred).
- Familiarity with power amplifier design (prior experience beneficial).
- Knowledge of up converters and down converters.
- Design of linear high power wide band RF amplifiers up to 200 Watts using for example GaN or LDMOS technology
- Design of RF filters
- Transmitter and Receiver Design experience
- LNA, Down-converter and Upconverter design
- Antenna design
- Experience with antenna-related projects.
- Microwave Design Tools - AWR Microwave Office (Cadence), Keysight ADS.
- Antenna Design Tools - Ansys HFS, Feko, CST Suite, EM Pro
- A working knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
- EMC experience.
- Familiarity and experience with industry tools such as PCB Design Software and RF simulation tools.
- Self-sufficient; capable of checking others' work.
- Industry background - Commercial environment, Military background not required.
- Team of 5: Embedded Engineer, Product/Mechanical Designers, RF Engineer.
- Quite a lot of solo work.
- Oversight provided by an Engineering/Project Manager responsible for incoming orders.
