About the Role

We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated primary school team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to support pupils' learning, contribute to classroom activities, and help create an engaging and inclusive school environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Working with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted learning support.
  • Assisting in planning and delivering creative and engaging activities.
  • Helping to manage behaviour and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs to help them achieve their potential.
  • Supervising children during break times and assisting with school activities and trips.


About You:

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
  • Have experience working in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Be enthusiastic about education and supporting children's development.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and able to use initiative.
  • Understand safeguarding and child protection policies.
