ATS Quality Lead

Location: Towcester/Filton - Onsite only

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the delivery of safe, conformant defence aerospace products
  • Take lead on control of non-conformance in a growing production area
  • Facilitate reporting of quality measures to wider business
  • Facilitate Material Review Boards to drive non-conformance to resolution
  • When necessary, interact with suppliers to prosecute issues with bought-in parts and raw material
  • Monitor and assure competency of production staff

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in quality control role in a production environment
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS/EN 9100
  • Experience of working with multiple business areas and managing numerous tasks simultaneously across a range of stakeholders
  • Experience instigating change and improvements

Desirable:

  • Experience/knowledge of elastomeric/composite materials
  • Aerospace industry background is advantageous
  • Relevant apprenticeship or degree is desired
