Impressive. Yes… but Danson saw an opportunity to be better & innovate faster.

Values: High Regard, Continual Improvement, No Fault Forward, Transparency, Extreme Ownership.
Company: Specialist Battery Engineers
Customers: Scania, Vertical Aerospace, WAE, JLR, Lotus Group, Maple, Mercedes AMG, Yasa

Your Background: Engineering, Innovate Projects

Our hiring philosophy:

People who align with our Purpose and Value
People who have a Willingness to succeed and drive through adversity, and
Skill as a final selector.

If someone has all the skill and no alignment of values and willingness, they can be the biggest rockstar there is, but not one for this band.

About us:

Whether a niche or a mass market EV battery, we have the means to deliver.

Our vision is to build a world where the environment isn’t sacrificed for energy security. Anyone can build a battery, but we build them to last and that is where we are actively working to remove barriers and inspire change towards the adoption of sustainable energy solutions.

The Opportunity:

Our tech has multi-application use within Automotive, Aerospace, Off Highway, Grid, Marine or anywhere else requiring engineered energy storage.

You will be responsible for programme managing our Innovate UK Projects to allow a small team to engineer and build our future innovations. This role will require you to apply for Innovate Projects backed by our technology team, lead the discussions and complete the admin entailed for the engineering team to complete their project.

We’ll spare you the long list duties ripped from the job description - we can discuss that later.

But we do need to throw down what we think you’ll need to succeed in this role:

+ Previous experience / knowledge in Innovate UK or Gov Funded Projects
+ Worked in an engineering environment / R&D
+ Super sharp and get stuff done (right now)
